Urban Bee Company supplies and manages bees for homeowners, schools, community gardens, restaurants, and parks. Our geographical area is the city of Seattle.

Our honey bee hives are Certified Naturally Grown, which means the hives are pesticide-free and use other bee-friendly methods. We use no antibiotics, no high fructose corn syrup, no GMOs, and even no plastic in our hives. We also require that our hive locations be pesticide-free zones.

New this year, we are also offering orchard mason bees. While they do not produce honey, mason bees are native to the Pacific NW and are prodigious pollinators. We install them (they live in a small box) and handle all their off-season management for you (their nest requires care and handling, including pest management and refrigeration).

After a site visit to determine if the location works, we can install hives in your yard and manage the bees year-round. Get more information about hosting honey bees or mason bees.
